6201 Fairview Road, a 58,064 square foot office building located on a prime corner in the SouthPark office submarket in Charlotte, has officially sold for $13,600,000 to an entity affiliated with Big V Property Group. Roger Cobb of Selwyn Property Group represented the buyer. Dunn Mileham, David Morris, and Eric Jennings of Trinity Partners handled the transaction on behalf of the seller, an affiliate of The Daniels Company based in Bluefield, West Virginia.
At the time of the sale, the office building was approximately 59% occupied. After purchasing the property in early 2014, The Daniels Company located its offices in the property with plans to relocate its North American headquarters there from West Virginia. Throughout The Daniels Company’s ownership and up until 2020, the property experienced nearly 100% occupancy as tenants enjoyed the unrivaled location adjacent to SouthPark Mall. Trinity Partners handled the leasing and management of the building on behalf of The Daniels Company.
Excellent visibility, walkable access to the abundant area amenities, convenient underground parking, and proximity to decision-maker housing in the surrounding neighborhoods position the investment for continued stability and strong performance. Big V Property Group plans to relocate its Charlotte-based office to the fourth floor of the building, returning the asset to full stabilization.
