Selwyn Northridge – Industrial Development
Selwyn Property Group will deliver Selwyn Northridge, a 104,700 SF speculative industrial building, in the first quarter of 2022. The site is located at 11142 Statesville Road near Interstate 77 in Huntersville. The project offers 32-foot clear heights, 30 dock-high doors and 2 drive-in doors. The building could be used as either a single-tenant, or multi-tenant facility with the ability to accommodate users between 23,400 SF and 104,700 SF. Pat Pierce and Jon Phillips with Selwyn Property Group lead up the development team.
800 St. Mary’s Multi-Family Development
In September 2021, Selwyn Property Group delivered 800 St. Mary’s – a boutique apartment project located in Raleigh, NC. This project features a mix of 65 high end apartment and townhome units. 800 St. Mary’s offers walkability to Fred Fletcher Park, Cameron Village Shopping Center, and Glenwood South. Amenities include a fitness center, business center, terrace and coffee lounge.
605 Lexington Office Development
In June 2019, Selwyn Property Group delivered a 20,000 square-foot boutique office building located in burgeoning midtown Charlotte. This three-story steel and concrete structure has a modern feel featuring a white brick exterior, and interior ceiling heights of up to fourteen feet. The property offers surface parking and convenient pedestrian/bicycle/automobile access to the idyllic Dilworth neighborhood, including the Carson Avenue light rail station, the newly renovated Dowd YMCA, and numerous restaurants, breweries, shops and apartments. Selwyn Property Group is now occupying space on the first floor of the building, and Merriman Schmitt Architects and Orsborn Engineering, the building’s design team, occupy the entire third floor.
MoRA Point Retail Redevelopment
In 2018, Selwyn Property Group acquired a vacant office park and shopping center on the east side of Charlotte. In a JV with SunCap Property Group, they demolished the buildings, rezoned the site, and transformed the property. The newly developed retail center is anchored by an Aldi Grocery Store. Other tenants include Starbucks, Verizon Wireless, Super Cuts, 7-Eleven, an ABC Store, and a public park with original art.
1500 Kenilworth Townhome Project
In 2017, Selwyn Property Group developed an 8-unit infill townhome project in the heart of the Dilworth neighborhood. This project is situated at the corner of Kenilworth Avenue and Pierce Street, and is within walking distance of the many restaurants, shops, and bars located on East Boulevard. The development team focused on capturing Dilworth’s historic feel, while also incorporating a transitional character to the project’s architecture.
200 Clanton Road Self-Storage Redevelopment
Selwyn Property Group’s self-storage redevelopment project at 200 Clanton Road was completed and opened according to schedule and budget in early February 2017. This project, located in the growing lower South End district, contains 490 newly manufactured self-storage units. CubeSmart, a national company and leading storage operator, is now managing, operating and leasing the facility. The 83,648 square foot building was purchased in April of 2016. SPG invested in this project in a joint venture with Providence Group Capital and Outbox Self Storage.
Helix South End Townhome Project
In 2017, Selwyn Property Group developed a 29 unit townhome project, Helix, in the South End neighborhood. Located at the corner of Doggett and Hawkins Street, the development was designed with a modern look and feel and is in walking distance of popular dining attractions, craft breweries, and the East-West Light Rail Station. The townhomes were built on a 1.1 acre site, and are between 1,038 – 2,137 square feet with one to three bedroom floorplans. This project was a joint venture with BPA Residential.
Park at Drexel
Selwyn Property Group developed a 45,000 SF mixed use project, Park at Drexel in 2014. This four story multi-family development is composed of 42 apartment units, and 4,500 square feet of commercial office space on the first floor. The property is conveniently located across the street from the Park Road Shopping Center, The Greenway, and just minutes away from SouthPark and Uptown.
