Chris has enjoyed working in commercial real estate for more than 20 years. His primary focus is industrial real estate in the Charlotte market and beyond, specializing in both buyer and seller representation, tenant and landlord representation, and development consultation.
Chris joined Selwyn Property Group in 2023 after nine years with Colliers, one of Charlotte’s largest commercial brokerage firms. He gained invaluable experience as an industrial broker, spending his final year as associate vice president of Charlotte region industrial. Prior to becoming a broker, Chris spent 11 years as a commercial appraiser at Integra Realty Resources. He earned his MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute, making him an asset in the valuation of properties – expertise he draws on daily for SPG clients. Chris earned the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation in 2025 and is a member of the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR). He holds real estate licenses in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
Originally from Danville, Virginia, Chris has been in Charlotte since graduating from UNC-Wilmington in 1999. When he’s not working, you can often find him and his family on ballfields around town. His wife, Brooke, and their three sons, Reece, Charlie and Noah, stay busy year-round with sports – primarily football and basketball, although golf is making a steady climb. They are active members of Sardis Presbyterian Church, and Chris enjoys golf, fly fishing, tennis and walking their dog, Meadow.
