Jensie has 35 years of experience in commercial real estate, leasing, acquisitions, finance, and has developed, redeveloped and acquired over 30 million square feet of properties of all types including grocery-anchored centers, mixed-use villages, power centers, regional malls, and urban infill mixed use projects.
An honors graduate of Washington & Lee University and Kenan Flagler- University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, M.B.A., he spent 17 years as Senior Managing Director for Faison Associates and Trammell Crow Company. He along with partners Grey Poole and Pat Pierce founded Selwyn Property Group.
He serves on the Board of Central Realty Holdings, a private diversified real estate development and investment company in Greenville, SC. He is a member of the Board of Trustees for Virginia Episcopal School where he chairs the Finance Committee. He is a member of the ICSC, Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors and is a Governance Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors.
Jensie served on the Board of Directors for Burroughs and Chapin Company, a private REIT, for 15 years where he chaired the Strategic Planning Committee and served on the Investment, Compensation and Audit Committees. He has served as the Board Chair of the Charlotte Preschool Partnership, Board Chair of the Central Avenue Bilingual School, Board Member of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the Executive Board of Thompson’s Child and Family Focus, and the Operations Committee of Goodwill of the Southern Piedmont.
